Hide task count notification on OSX

Hi, is it possible to hide the notification count on the OSX icon in the task bar? I know i have items todo, but don't want to see that number always displayed.

This is called the 'badge' for other apps.

You could hide it. Please go to the Preferences page and uncheck the checkbox in General page. See the pic: http://faq.doit.im/mac.html#17
