The quick entry dialog is fine (although i hope it can be larger).
But it all changed when i upgrade to Yosemite. I noticed doit.im quick entry dialog tries to use some blend of transparent background into it - which is fine if i can still see things clearly. But it isn't.

It is way too dark, standing out too much while the rest of the screen is usually in a much lighter color (you don't have a lot of applications or web page with dark background). So that makes your eye harder to adjust to the dark, tiny area on the screen and try to see the words you type.

The line change character on the far right side of the quick entry dialog makes things worse. It's the same color as the words you type in. And as you type longer sentences, the area you look at is exactly that far right side of the quick entry dialog. So the character you type will be completely blocked by that line-change character (which is not very necessary at all once the user knows typing enter will submit a new entry).

It seriously hurts my eye after using it for 1 min. And I can't even make any adjustments to it.

Here's what i would hope to see as a user:
* the color theme + the line change character shouldn't make it too hard to see the quick entry i'm tying.
* please make it bigger or adjustable (resizable). I'm not even using the HD resolution but still hard to see it. In comparision, OmniFocus, Evernote all have huge quick entries. While i'm typing i really don't care if i can see the rest of the screen.
