I know the mac version did a slighlty better job (put the rest of the content into notes) - but i wonder if we should simply get rid of the 255 character limitation (or at least make it reasonable large, such as 1024)
The fact is that for someone who wants to describe a task in just the titles (esp. when you use quick entry there's no way to type in notes andall you can type in is the title) - they can't describe a task with all the details within 255 characters. This has been increasingly annoying.
On web platform, the task entry experience is even worse with 255 character limitation. You get to type however long you want, and then it rejects your input, saying it reaches 255 limit. That's simply not good user experience.
Just to clarify: the 255 characters limitation refers to the task title - which is the only task field you are able to type into at quick entry dialog (except on Mac where exceeding the limit will move most of the content to note, leaving a half sentence in the task title)
