Hello,
any task that I define that is not related to any other task does not deserve it's own project. Let's say something like 'Adjust my watch wristband'.
Since I use doit for everything I create alot of these stand alone task.
One feature that would save me quite some time would be the definition of a default project. Let's say I have a project called 'Misc' and configure it to be my default project. After setting this option any task that I create (from all platforms and dialogs including the quickbar) will have 'Misc' set as it's project.
Greetings,
Ole
Defaults can save a lot of time. The app Toodledo has customizable defaults for practically everything - a whole page full of options - which I thought was brilliant.
I agree with your request. In my own case I would use defaults primarily for priority (medium) and context (computer) but also, as you suggest, for Misc tasks that I cannot bother to even think which real project they belong to (today I can retrieve these by using a saved search if I misplace them and cannot find them).
