@aeiche
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback. We will add this feature to our web version.
Thank you for your support. :)
Best regards,
Doit.im Team
This feature doesn't seem to be available in the web. This is (as far as I can tell) the closest thing that DoIt.im has to a managed "Next Actions" list from GTD. While not ideal, it is better than the default listing in next, which is to list all available tasks that do not fall into Scheduled, Someday, or Waiting.
Barring a proper GTD Next Actions list, I would like to see the "One" option added to the web interface.

Well, please do, because the UI should be CONSISTENT, but please go a step further and provide the means - on all platforms - to allow the user to set any number of ACTIVE and INACTIVE actions in the project. For people who look far ahead there could be any number of actions that do not yet belong on the GTD lists (Next, Waiting etc) and could be regarded as INACTIVE (GTD term is "project support") but which a Doit user would rather enter straight into Doit than enter it in a Word file etc somewhere - we want to enter it but keep it out of sight for now. In future, you could add automatic progression - very popular.

I agree with Folke. Being able to limit to one is nice, but what I really want to do is arbitrarily decide which tasks I want to see in the next view. Next shouldn't be just a pile of all non-scheduled tasks
