Scheduled tasks not appearing

Hi. It seems scheduled tasks for the day are not appearing correctly in the today list. They keep showing up late in the day or the following day. I'm not sure what causes this. It seems there are different items in the today list on different devices. Some the scheduled task appears in today and others it doesn't. I am using doit on iPhone and two windows PC's all latest version.

Also I closed and reopened doit on one if the windows machines to make the tasks appear. I press the sync lots of times but it didn't help. Even though other tasks sync fine throughout the day.

Hi,

Do you mean that only repeated tasks can not be showed in Today after you complete syncing? Could you please make scree shot and sent it to us by private comments?

I don't have a screenshot right now. But what happens is scheduled tasks sometimes do not show in windows app. Then if I open on iPhone or another windows PC they then appear. Have to close and re-open windows app for it to show up. Sync did not help.

Hi,

Do you complete syncing when you make the screenshot? You could see the last sync successfully time in Sync Log in the settings page.

Now all repeat tasks are created by the server. Apps need complete sync to download the repeat tasks from the server.

Hi,

I have very similar problem.
I have Daily Repeated Tasks, but it doesn't appear in Today or Tomorrow tab. But it appears at Calendar View on Doit.im Web.

I attached two files. Today.png shows there is only one task, but if you see Schedule.png, you see a lot more.
Is there some thing you wanna know to solve the problem?

Hi Wendy, Yes this happens with a full sync, like I pushed sync like 5 times and ensured other tasks were syncing across devices but they scheduled tasks did not show. I did get them to show if I restarted the app though. Some seem to never show up at all. Definitely something not working right.

We maintained our server yesterday. Please refresh your webpage and manual sync on your apps to have a check.

Hi Wendy,

I am still having this problem, right now I have two tasks on my phone that I cannot make show on my PC. They are both scheduled tasks created many weeks ago and therefore no sync should be required, however even after syncing both apps and restarting the doit PC app they are still showing different tasks in the Today list.

Thanks for your help it's a great app it's making my life better haha. So any patches or fixes would be highly appreciated.

Hi Wendy,

I just noticed that if I logoff the app and sign in again by typing my username/password on the PC it did fix it this time, so that's my workaround for now. It's still annoying though as I might not know that the scheduled task is missing and miss some important work

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback.

Could you please send me the local log to us? We guess that your windows app have problem in syncing with the server.
The default path is: C:\Users\Wendy\AppData\Roaming\Doit.im\bin\logs
Note: Change " Wendy" to your own PC username
