@coburn
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback.
Q:1. How do I share my calendar (preferably my whole calendar) with another Doit member/account holder? So far I can only see that you're allowing me to assign an event to another (which suffers from many bugs, and isn't suitable for my purposes anyhow, as I completely lose sight of my event).
A:Sorry that it is not supported to share the calendar to others. If you use google calendar, you could link Doit.im to Google calendar, and share your calendar in Google calendar.
Q:2. I use Outlook for my business emails and meetings. How do I share my Outlook emailed meetings with Doit or the reverse way around (i.e. send a meeting request to a client using Doit, allowing my client to save the meeting in Outlook's calendar as if the meeting request was sent via Outlook on my side).
A: You could send that email to your Doit.im task email address. The email will be a task in Doit.im Inbox. Please have a try.
Best regards,
Doit.im Team
I've two questions that are crucial if I'm to continue using Doit.im:
1. How do I share my calendar (preferably my whole calendar) with another Doit member/account holder? So far I can only see that you're allowing me to assign an event to another (which suffers from many bugs, and isn't suitable for my purposes anyhow, as I completely lose sight of my event).
I do hope that you are able to offer the above basic features so that I may continue using Doit.
Calum

Thanks for your fast response 'Doit.im Team'
Q1: I think that I've successfully linked my Doit.im calender to Google Calendar. Challenge now is that only two events that were marked as completed earlier today appear in G Calendar, and none of the other events (none from the past, none from the future, and none of the other events from today that were not marked as completed).

Q2: I sent the Outlook invite to email address 'coburn.BOrXU@doitim.in' and the sent task isn't showing in my Doit Inbox and isn't showing anywhere else either.

@coburn
Hi,
Do you use the outlook client or the web version?
Best regards,

Answer: Web version for all of the above (though I do also have the Doit installed on my phone).
Q1: After making an update in Doit's calendar, and seeing this update appear in my G Calendar instantly, it looks like G only shows any NEW changes made in Doit, and G won't show any pre-existing entries from Doit. If this is the way in which it works, why are you not aware of this shortcoming? -

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback.
1. Please tell me the task title.
2. Please see more information of Two-way Synchronization between Doit.im and Google Cal here:

Q1: as described above: NONE of previously created tasks show in Outlook, so take your pick of any historically created tasks. e.g. 'Massage: Shayne' from 10 July.
"2. Please see more information of Two-way Synchronization between Doit.im and Google Cal here:
http://faq.doit.im/web.html#121" Please use the above existing numbering of questions rather than ignoring our previously used numbering of questions. I see NOTHING in the above link that is new or pertinent to the issue that we were discussing, and can only guess that someone from the Doit team dropped by on this issue, without bothering to read the history to understand the real issue, and decided that a copy-paste insult was the best way of slapping us in the face. I've given VERY specific feedback in order to help Doit pinpoint this Doit BUG.
Q2: The client version / pc installed. As with 99% of the population... So why did Doit not receive/show the email I've let you know about? Do you not have access to your own email servers???
After your mismanagement of these bugs, I've started using Trello again and don't plan on renewing my membership with Doit. Such a shame, as your product had so much potential. -

Hi,
About the Two-way Synchronization between Doit.im and Google Cal issue:
Sorry that we may not understand your question. Do you mean that you could not see the previous scheduled tasks that you create or modify before the connection in Doit.im after you click the G button on web version?
You need click the G button to sync the tasks from GCal to Doit.im. It is not automatically syncing.
In the link we give you before, you could find one note:
To make the previous scheduled tasks that you create or modify before the connection takes effect also appear on Google Cal, please edit and then save them one by one. Sorry that these tasks could not be automatically synced to Doit.im.
Do you mean that the events in GCal are still not synced to Doit.im after you edited and then save the tasks which you create or modify before the connection takes effect one by one?

Hi,
About the email to task issue:
We need more information from you to check this issue. We are not sure that our server receive the email you sent. We need the title to check this issue.
If convenient to you, please tell me where the address you put. Is it "To"/"CC"/"BCC"? Thank you.
Best regards,
Doit.im Team
