Hi,
Do you ever use Show one feature in Next box?
Best regards,
Doit.im Team
Now, if I go to 'Next' it will show the project with all four tasks. However, 'task 2' and further are not of interest yet to me as I need to do 'task 1' first. I rather have it not show up because it clutters if I have many projects and many tasks in my 'next'-list.
Is it possible to add an option where I can make a sequential task list?
1: That when I complete 'task 1'
2: Automatically 'task 2' goes from (for example) Someday to Next.
3. Leaving task 3 (and more) in the Someday-list until task 2 is completed and so on.

Hi Wendy,
I cannot find it. I looked for it on google, but it seems that it is for android not for the website version? -

It is a great shame that the different platforms are not kept up to date.
Anyway, the Show One, Show All feature, which is available on Windows (maybe Mac?) is not particularly useful. It does exactly what it says (shows just one or shows all actions from each project), but usually I have a few actions (more than one, but usually not all) in each project that is possible to do right now. So I need some other trick to hide the dependent actions that will not be possible until other tasks have been completed.
I currently use Priority:None for these, but that is an ugly trick as that does not hide them from the "current" lists. I would appreciate a more solid option, such as marking dependent actions as Inactive, and thereby only seeing them in the Project view. And as you say, the "activation" of an additional task could be easily automated - this would be very neat even if it is not necessary.

Folke, I am glad you agree. What you meantion is also why I think this is such a good feature.
For some projects, you might one to see all Next Actions as they can be done independently (so showing only one of all project is no option).
However, for other projects only certain Next Actions are important and other Next Actions will depend on completing those. It would be nice if you could set certain Next Actions as a linchpin for others that will automatically go to 'Next' upon completing the former.
