Sync from phone to web

There was another post where this situation was described and the answer was that it should be working already.

So the problem is that I created several tasks yesterday at evening on my phone, it was online, with connection to internet, etc.

This morning I expected to open the web and see them there. But no new tasks were added. I had to open my app on the phone do manual sync and then refresh the web page.

If this is not the bug, could you please describe workflow of sync a little bit better, when this occurs on android (when I do what?) and on web, so I could understand it and take more advantage of it.

Hello,

On Android app, auto sync takes places every 30 mins.

If the issue you reported happens again, please first go to system settings to make sure if Doit.im is running in the background.

Auto sync will not happen if the app is not running in the background.

The issue had happen again this night. And I just went into system settings and found that Doitim Service is running for last 45 hours at least, which means it was running in the background this night and previous night where I noticed issue happening.

@michelle1987 btw, just to clarify, when I opened android app, and intentionally hit sync button, they were synced and now are visible on the web.

Would it help if I create another one and don't sync for now, so you can see it is in the android app, but not on the web (however if it is not syncing not sure if you'll be able to see it)?

Also I noticed that this happens both ways (but I'd assume that problem is in the Android app), when I marked task on the web as completed, it didn't mark it as completed in android app. So it seems that auto-sync is just not happening

We checked it but failed to reproduce the problem you reported.
