They have missed a few things in the implementation, I believe. It is not easy to see the relationships because some useful features are entirely missing, but it is in fact a straight hierarchy: Goal > Project > Task > Subtask
This means that if a Task belongs to a Project, and that Project belongs to a Goal, then implicitly the Task belongs to a Goal - but they have forgotten to show that fact and basically have no features for exploiting that relationship. So Goals are a bit lame; I hope they fix this soon.
why are goal and projects mutually exclusive?
I would like a task to be tagged as being in both a goal and a project.
