@shoanm
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback.
It has been in our developing plan. We will try our best to make it ASAP.
Best regards,
Doit.im Team
It would be great to upload attachments when sent by email. I use email-to-task feature excessively, but still need to manage attachments in my email to maintain context. This is a big pain.
It would be great if I could like a storage service such as google drive / dropbox and the email attachments are automatically uploaded and linked to the task from the storage service. This way, I'll no longer need the email after the task is created.

I am not sure it is a good enough solution to tie individual emails and attachments to a particular task.
You often need to archive things properly even if there is no task to be done, so you need a rock solid archive/reference structure anyway - with our without the task manager (Doit). And you always need to analyze (process) each email in order to determine what action or actions need to be created or amended. There is often a more complex relationship than one-to-one between emails (reference) and tasks. Some thinking and total rephrasing of the task is almost always required. And usually tasks can be deleted once the task is done, which reference info cannot be.
Of course it might be neat to have some convenient ability to link tasks and projects to various reference sources, but I fear the whole email-attachment approach may be a dead end. -

@Folke Hi there, as it is most uses' needs to have attachments linked to Doit, we are working on this feature now. Thanks for your advice. We will take your idea into account.
