If a task is created by someone else then assigned to a person, you can not longer edit the task title or description. To reproduce, make sure you have two accounts. Create a task in account 1 and "send to" account 2. Go into account 2 and find the task, click on Edit and the title and task description are grayed out and you cannot change any text. Even if you send to the account 1, the account 1 can no longer edit the task title or description. Help.
