Inactive tasks appear in mobile Android

Platform:androidVersion:3.9.12

I have 17 active and another 26 inactive tasks. On the web app I have no problem, but when I want to assign a task to a project on my Android advice, I am presented with a totally unusable list of 43 projects to choose from.

Users set projects to inactive for a reason! How do I rid the mobile interface of projects I dont want cluttering my screen?

PS Moreover, I cannot see the inactive projects on my desktop. This is a mess.
