Hi,
the current Android app (other than the old one) opens Todo items directly in edit mode. This is great for editing items, but in edit mode you cannot click links. You have to copy and paste them into your browser. This is quite painfull, but at least it works. When it comes to app links, there is an acutal problem. Say I have a Google Maps link in my item and my mobile is configured to open those directly in the Maps app, I cannot do that. I can copy and past the link into my browser, but then the browser thinks, "hey, he has pasted it directly to me, so I guess I need to open it" and is not redirecting to the Maps app. And since you can't paste links into Maps (or other apps) those links to be opened by apps are actually not opened in the apps.
I don't know how this is solved best (don't got into edit mode directly, but view mode first? popupp when placing cursor on links?), but it needs to be solved somehow.
I reated it as a bug, because it is preventing a core Adnroid feature from working and also some links may not work proprely inside the browser, as there's an app for that. But surely you can argue to see it as a feature.
Regards,
Jan
@Moonseppel Hi there, sorry links have to be copied and pasted now. We have already taken this feature into account. Thanks for your patience.
