@Accipiter46 Hi there, the small number beside the icon is a reminder of today tasks. It is a necessary feature for most uses. It is not possible for removing it now. Sorry =_=

Your service is very close to perfect, but that icon is annoying.

Haha. This is really a minor thing, but I actually agree with Accipiter46.
It is funny to see how people can see things so differently. Some people are into "quantification". They want to quantify everything - how many tasks they have on each list, how much time each one will take, how much time it actually took them to do each task, etc etc etc. Others do not want any of that - they regard that type of "information" as either unreliable or as not meaningful or not worthwhile to maintain. It would seem, at least from Doit's own statements, that the majority of users are, or are believed to be, large-scale "quantifiers". But what if we are not? (I am not, I refuse to walk into that dead end street.)
It is probably good if Doit has a stable base of paying users playing "project management" with their personal things, but it would also be good if Doit could serve those people who are looking for a more effective, and less rigid and time-consuming, personal approach, such as GTD. -

@Folke Hi there, we understand your need. We will see if there is a better way to satisfy all of you. Sorry for the trouble.

@Folke
Yeah, I like to check the tasks off one at a time without knowing exactly how many are left.
Though I realized I will be spending most of the time using the ios app where this is not a problem. At least they considered it, which is good to know for the future.
