@tek Hi there,you can tick the completed task in "Completed" box, and it will appear in the box "Next".
Thanks,

@Linjiani
I believe the feature @tek is talking about is the alternative repeat mechanism - repeat x days after completion - that so many users ask for and which some apps actually have and which I believe has been promised here..
The regular repeat mechanism might be called "repeat x days after start" for comparison. Both alternatives are very useful. For example, for a task such as "write monthly summary" it is usually best to have it repeat in the "regular" way, such that it always shows up on the 1st of every month, but for a task such as "change oil filter", that might tend to hang around your lists for a large portion of the desired interval before it gets done and for which the dates as such are not important - only the interval - the alternative "repeat x days after completion" becomes very useful, in other words "show me again x days after i actually did do it it last time". -

@Folke Hi there, sorry for my misunderstanding. We will take this feature into account. For now, I would suggest you set the deadline later for the task.

@Linjiani, How would that help? And what deadline would that be? (Many tasks do not even have a deadline.)
@tek, my own workaround to this problem since I have been using Doit has been to do as follows:
I name these tasks with a prefix such as RAC-3w: (e.g. RAC-3w: Clean kitchen filter) which means Repeat 3 weeks After Completion. (I also have such prefixes called RAC-2m and RAC-10d etc etc. for other intervals.) The prefix makes me notice what kind of task it is, which then (usually) is enough to prevent me from accidentally checking it off after I have completed the work. Instead I reschedule the task manually to the next time (3 weeks after the completion date). In other words I do not use Doit's reeat functionalituy, just a regular onece-off schedule, which I repeat manually over and over again for eaxch of these tasks. The main problem with this workaround is that I do in fact sometimes accidentally check these things off when they are done, which means that task will never pop up again on my list. -

@Folke Hi there, you can set the deadline for the tasks. We will assess the value of this feature and decide its developing process.
