Hello,
Which version do you use? Now on the Mac app, batch tagging has been supported. Select multiple tasks and then right click to tag them.
We will also consider supporting it on other platforms.
In addition, as you know, Areas of Focus has been in our development plan. We will try to speed up the pace of the new feature development.
Shall you need any help or have additional questions, please feel free to contact us.
Thank you for your feedback and support.
Ability to bulk tag with either Areas of Focus or tags
Like many users, I currently use a tagging workaround for areas of focus. For example, I have a tag "Focus:Personal" for personal items and a tag "Focus:Work" for work-related items. When I'm in the office, I filter by the "Focus:Work" tags to keep my task list tidy and easy to focus on during the day.
I know Areas of Focus is on your development plan, so I wanted to ask if your product roadmap can also include a method for bulk tagging tasks with a specific Area of Focus.
Scenario: I dump a dozen tasks into a project called "Spring Cleaning", I currently then drag them all today "Tomorrow" (because I want to do them all the following day while I'm off work) and then also drag them all to the "Home" context so I see them when I look at @Home items during the weekend. There's currently no way to drag them to a tag, such as "Focus:Home" so I have to edit each of them individually to set this attribute.
Batch tagging would be nice and I know it's been discussed before, but having all tags on the left view bar could get really messy if the user has a large number of tags. Selecting the tasks and adding a text-based tag (either a new one or one that corresponds with an existing tag) would be one solution.

I currently use your PC version occasionally, and either your web applicatioan or Mac version regularly. I'll start using the Mac version more -- I didn't realize bulk tagging was in place there. That's very helpful.
Thanks for the quick response, as usual. -
