@dmarkwa Sorry for this issue. Would you please attach the screenshot of the "Project "?
Go to Project List
Select Project.
Add a project Step.
Double click on that project step.
Add a list of 4+_ subtasks to that project step.
You will see that the new subtasks are not visible on the screen.
Hit Command-B and go back to the project level.
Then double click on the project step you just edited.
You will see the full list of sub-tasks.

Can confirm that this issue also happens for me on El Capitan. There are so many bugs in the Mac Desktop version with El Capitan and I have seen ZERO progress being made towards fixing them. It's funny that Mac will release an entirely new operating system (macOS Sierra) before a single bug was fixed.

Thanks @Linjiani - the post you linked to was written 7 months ago. You're saying it will be a further 3 months - 10 months in total - until this issue (as well as many others) will be resolved?
Think you have to hire some more (or better?) developers, before the 'continuous support' dwindles, and customers give their support (and $$) to another provider. -
