First of all thank you for doit.im, it's really great. Still, I cannot manage to edit or erase comments on tasks after posting them. Is that on purpose or am I missing something? Would be really great if you could include that feature.

Comment can write down the status of the task and provide a communication channel between you and your contact.
A comment can be neither modified nor deleted once posted because the comment will be sent to your contact with task together. So please be careful when you write the comment and try to re-check it before you post it.
If you find there is something wrong in your posted comment,you can add a new comment to correct the old one.
