Hi, there. It doesn't seems like a bug. In preference setting you will be asked to set a working hours and lunch break, it depends the total time you have to deal with the task to do today.
For example, working hours is 9:00~18:00 and the lunch break is 12:00~13:00, your estimated task time for toady's task will be 8 hours. And then you had 7 hours of estimated task time, of course there is 1 hour left.

When using the Daily Plan, the estimate at the top of the screen sometimes give incorrect information. For example I had seven hours + of estimated task time and it is saying 1 hour 5 minutes left. I am attaching a screenshot. Why is this happening?

I see whats going on. Until you have filled up all 7 hours it tells how much task time is still available. Once you have used up all the task time it tells you how much you have scheduled.
