Thank you for your question!
The meaning of the act we move things into Waiting is that, we have a task B, but can not do it now, we have to do task A first, and only after the completion of A can I do B. Then I move B to Waiting.
But the feature now in the system is unable to tell you 'Hey, now you've finished A, don't forget to do B.' So putting in Waiting now would make you miss B. That's why we moved Waiting away when moving our own tasks. (But tasks sent by others will still appear in Waiting so that you may review them any time.)
If you still want to use it, you may add the task via desktop versions, but we don't recommend it now.
We suggest you set it into Scheduled.
E.g.: If you buy something online and wait for the parcel. You may set the Start Time of the task, say, 'Check if the parcel comes', to the day after tomorrow. Then it will appear in Today when that day is coming. And you will not miss it. And then if the parcel still hasn't arrived, you may defer the task to tomorrow, etc.
What do you think about it?
Just tell us if you have any ideas.
Thank you!
Nice day!

Thanks for clarification. In GTD methodology as far as I know waiting list is mainly used for tasks assigned to another people. For example, I've delegated task to my buddy. Now I put it into waiting list to remember about it. Correct me if I am wrong, I used it this way all day long.

Please turn back to the previous workflow!!!
I use my waiting for tasks also (or mainly) for people who do NOT use doit.im.
So I'm not able to generate a waiting for task by asigning the task to someone else.
If this feature will not be possible again I will have to switch to another task management system (unfortunatly I just renewed my account with doit.im :-/ ) -

Just figured out that long pressing on a task brings up the option to "Move" the task.
Here you can choose "Waiting".
A little increase in workflow but a least it works.... -

Thank you all!
We've brought Waiting back in the latest test version, which will be submitted to App store in 2-3 days.
