Yes. Great disappointment. May be time to change another app.

I feel the same. This is an absolute disaster of a release and there is just silence from the developers. Please communicate and let us know what is happening to what was the best GTD app by a mile!

Hi all, Thank you for all your feedback!
1. Tomorrow list: We've seen from most of our users' feedback that you still need it. We've decided to bring it back next.
2. Waiting list: It is still there. You may enter it by tapping the top menu. The change is, you may not move your own tasks into it when editing Start Time of tasks. Because the meaning of moving a task to Waiting should be one would be reminded automatically of this task when some other preparation has been done. But based on our current feature, putting your own tasks into Waiting may make you miss that task. So we only keep the feature of showing tasks in Waiting that have been sent to others so that you may check them any time you like. While for your own tasks that wait for some preparation, you may estimate a start date and put it into that day, when the task will appear in Today. Then if the task could still be completed, then you may defer it.
3. Review / Plan: They will still be here, just we've been thinking of improving them.
4. Evernotes: It will be still here. Just we came across some problem in showing Evernotes. But we'll fix it soon.
5. Also, usability has changed which translates into more taps to perform certain operations, like moving tasks or assigning context / goals / projects -- But clicking '...', there also needs some more clicks. But we're thinking that over.
Thank you very much!

@Kassy
I put tasks in Waiting to remind myself who I am waiting from and I revisite that area from time to time. What if I have a client who doesn't use Doit and I want to wait from this client? I don't want to see this tasks in calendar because it is a waiting task, and I want to see everything I am waiting for at a glance. Waiting and Tomorrow were the greatest two views that Doit had but others didn't, and now you've ruined it. -

@Kassy - Thanks for the reply, I really hope these items get fixed very soon.
DoIt.im, in my opinion, is one of the most robust GTD apps that I have seen particularly for its usage flexibility.and additional features beyond the standard GTD framework; such as Tomorrow List, DoitNow, evernote, gcal, mutliple tags, and more importantly its simplicity to move tasks around with very few tabs. Being DoIt a productivity app, I would say usability is key for this app success, sadly the latest release seems to have put great focus on the design while degrading the app usability and flexibility.
As others have mentioned on different threads, Waiting list goes beyond tasks sent to other DoIt.im users, it is a parking place for whatever tasks cannot be worked on due to different roadblocks. The automatic reminder for waiting task described is a valid scenario, but not the whole picture. Having the ability to move our own tasks to Waiting list is a must, everyone may have their own reasons to place own tasks in Waiting. As per reminding about Waiting tasks, as mentioned by Wassim, a check every now and then will do or simply a regular check as part of a the weekly review.
You guys have made a great product with this app, but in the process of improving it, you guys are letting go features that put Doit.im on top of many other similar apps. Do not throw away the good work, I am looking forward to the next release! -

I again aggree all above.
I also put some Things into the waiting list when for example a neihbour borrows something or I ordered something in a online shop.
Redesign a app is good, deleting Options (and as I can not Transfer something from Inbox to waiting or whatever this a Kind of deleting!!!) is f!@ö! -

@Kassy
Looking at the last few days comments, some of the functionalities have been changed. I wonder how these changes were decided? There was no request from the community to eliminate the Tomorrow view or the way Waiting is working. So why are you changing some feature for which there is no change demand? What are the sources you use to improve the SW?
We have waited already long for v5, when will you fix these issues?
By the way the Android update should have been out this week, but no word yet. -

Thank you all for your questions and suggestions!
Your thought are of great importance. We're considering to add Waiting back.
Good day! -

@vertigo_vh72 great point. No comms or consultation on these changes for what is effectively "our" app as users. It feels as though its been rebuilt from scratch and features arent yet implemented. Eg the web interface and Android versions still have tomorrow and plan and review....so it's not a paradigm shift for doit.im.
Can anyone advise how to roll back versions as this just does not work for me on ios? -
02/02/2017 19:16#11Doit.im
@jtotheb7 Thank you for your concern!
It's not rebuilt from scratch but our developers do have rewritten a lot of codes to make every piece of experience much better. And our developers now are all much more excellent than those were two years ago. So it's worth waiting for the new version. The features are not complete, but they are becoming better. And the developers are of high efficiency. Tomorrow will come in the following version, which will be submitted to App store for review in a day or two.
Any questions or suggestions, please just tell us any time. We'll be really glad to hear from you.
Thank you again!
