In our general consideration, too many tasks in Next without project attributes would to some extent lead to mess, since you have to review tasks in Next manually and they won't pop up in front of at certain time, and also you may miss them if there is no project for it.
But everybody use Doit.im in a different way. So maybe you have your own unique need. Could you please tell us your specific scenario why you need to use the feature of adding single actions to Next frequently?

Need an option quick add to next. Sometimes I need add a single action without project assign. In quick add if I don't specify project it goes only in inbox. Then I need go to inbox and put it to next manually. Sometimes there are next actions in project sometimes they are single items.

@Soulfull145322 Yes, GTD theory is the guideline of Doit.im. But how to better process actions in Next is still an important problem for us to consider. Thank you for your sharing your ideas.
For adding tasks to Next, I suggest you add them into Inbox by Quick-add first, and then batch move them to Next, which would also be convenient.
