When adding or editing a task, "Project" selection should appear above "Context". I think Project is more important than context so it should shows up first, who agrees?
Let's help the Doit team discover bugs to address them and request missing features. I'll start with my observations so far.
Android version 5.04:
- Can't long press a task.
- Animation is very nice but is pretty slow, can we make it a bit faster?
- Can we have a setting to enable or disable the today counter number on the icon? This stresses me and I personally prefer not seeing the number all the time.
- What happened to task time estimate? And when will pomodoro be available?
- The smart add notification bar icon is way too small. And can you add a feature to hide or show the icon all the time in the notification status bar at the top like in Todoist or wunderlist? I don't like seeing the icon because when I check my phone quickly sometimes I think it's a missed call or something, yet I'd love to use smart add from the notification tray.
- The tasks width is now smaller. Can you enlarge it a bit? The container box is too small leaving little room for the task title to appear.
- Will you consider making an option in setting to show task titles in multi lines like in Todoist?
- When I change the priority of the task it switches position (red goes to top). I personally prefer the old way when priorities didn't change the task position in the list.
- If a task has a description, the description icon flickers when you open the app then disappear. Can you please fix?
- When I switch phone to landscape mode, the task title is cut in the middle when the title is long.
- In the past, I used the swipe from left to right to close the task details window. Right now I either have to click save or cancle. Can you please give us the ability to dismiss the task view by using swipe.
- I don't know if other users agree, but I think it would be better for the add button to be where the "Me" tab is, and just remove the pencil icon button and move the "Me" somewhere else. We usually don't use settings all the time, so clicking add from that area is easier to add new task (thumb close to it). And also the pencil button is appearing on top of tasks which is a bit confusing and sometimes I click it accidentally.
- I like the layout of the new GTD menu buttons, but in the past I quickly accessed this menu with swipe from left to right. Is it possible to revert this feature back? The menu button is way too far in the top left corner so swipe is easier for easy access.
Many thanks for reading through.
Best regards,
Wassim

Thank you very much for your continuous help, @wassim !
Android version 5.04:
1. Can't long press a task.
-- It'll be here in the version 5.06 after the next 5.05.
2. Animation is very nice but is pretty slow, can we make it a bit faster?
-- OK, it's been told to our engineers.
3. Can we have a setting to enable or disable the today counter number on the icon? This stresses me and I personally prefer not seeing the number all the time.
-- Not for the present. There are too many old features to improve and new features to add, we're really sorry that we would not put this into consideration currently since it's not of high priority.
4. What happened to task time estimate? And when will pomodoro be available?
-- It will be available in 5.06.
5. The smart add notification bar icon is way too small. And can you add a feature to hide or show the icon all the time in the notification status bar at the top like in Todoist or wunderlist? I don't like seeing the icon because when I check my phone quickly sometimes I think it's a missed call or something, yet I'd love to use smart add from the notification tray.
-- It seems that some people are afraid of missing the feature without the icon.
6. The tasks width is now smaller. Can you enlarge it a bit? The container box is too small leaving little room for the task title to appear.
-- Do you mean you don't like the indented sides of task bars?
7. Will you consider making an option in setting to show task titles in multi lines like in Todoist?
-- We'll not consider it for the present. For planning and reviewing, you may see the detail task by task. When doing something, you may just open the detail page. When else will you need to see two to three lines but maybe still not all of the content? If there are any time you do like this, could you please describe your scenarios?
8. When I change the priority of the task it switches position (red goes to top). I personally prefer the old way when priorities didn't change the task position in the list.
-- You don't need the ones with higher priority to be listed in front of others?
9. If a task has a description, the description icon flickers when you open the app then disappear. Can you please fix?
-- It's been told to our engineers and they'll fix it.
10. When I switch phone to landscape mode, the task title is cut in the middle when the title is long.
-- Submitted to engineers.
11. In the past, I used the swipe from left to right to close the task details window. Right now I either have to click save or cancle. Can you please give us the ability to dismiss the task view by using swipe.
-- We'll try to make better solutions.
12. I don't know if other users agree, but I think it would be better for the add button to be where the "Me" tab is, and just remove the pencil icon button and move the "Me" somewhere else. We usually don't use settings all the time, so clicking add from that area is easier to add new task (thumb close to it). And also the pencil button is appearing on top of tasks which is a bit confusing and sometimes I click it accidentally.
-- We'll consider it. But maybe there will be other solutions.
13. I like the layout of the new GTD menu buttons, but in the past I quickly accessed this menu with swipe from left to right. Is it possible to revert this feature back? The menu button is way too far in the top left corner so swipe is easier for easy access.
-- We'll add a quick entry button at the bottom. And for the menu swiping right, we're considering it, but at least we'll improve it even if we add it back.
Thank you very much for so much ideas!
We'll discuss about some of them and make priorities since there are indeed so many features to improve.
Thank you again! -

@Wassim, great feedback. I'll be adding mine shortly in a different thread as I don't want to hijack yours.
