Will the "upgrade to pro" button always be there, even though I've ugraded?
Also, do I need to attach my phone to the computer using the power cord to sync "manually" or can I sync without attaching it?

Yes, we are sure that you're pro account now!
Have you synced? You don't need to attach your phone with computer. You can sync separately.
See the pic attached showing you where the Sync is,
or you can just downward swipe the screen.
Try sync first, if the problem still exists, contact us and we will report it to the engineer.
