Thank you very much for your careful consideration, Samu!
Good point! We've put it down to see if it can work.
When replying you the question, I'm thinking another question: For events created in Google Calendar, it's good if we can calculate the estimated time from the difference between deadline and start time. But for tasks in Doit.im, a deadline of a task maybe on a different day, though we recommend our users to subdivide the tasks so that each action can be arranged on specific day.
Glad to listen to your ideas.
"estimated time" for google calendar events that repeat daily (or other repetitions)
Is there a way that for events created on google calendar that repeat daily, Doit.im take as the "estimated time" of the task, the duration of the event (start time and deadline)?
If a event created on google calendar, start at 11:00hs and end at 13:00hs, maybe Doit.im could program automatically the estimated time as "2 hours" (maybe the user choose on settings if wanna have this activated)
I know that i can program the estimated time myself, but i make that suggestion for the events of google calendar that repeat daily (or other repetition), because you can not program the estimated time for all the repetitions, just one by one, because are like single tasks.
PD: maybe this "automatic estimated time" could be for every task that have a start time and a deadline, would be so comfortable. (if the user want to having it activated on the settings)

hello
I think maybe i did not understand the question well
if it is a task that has the "repeat daily or weekly" set on the settings, can have another deadline on different days?
And "subdivide" will mean not set "repeat" on the settings of the task and instead add a task on every day you want to do it?
And thank you!
hope it can be done!

@samu176 Sorry I hadn't made it clear. I mean occasionally, people would set deadline as on a different day from its start date. But that should not be a problem.
Your suggestion is good. And we're also considering to add a default estimated time (duration) as in pomodoro tracker.
Thank you!
