Since long-term goal would not be divided detailedly until it's like three months away. So a goal in our system is actually a short-term goal. You may put down life-long and long-term goal in the description of a certain goal named 'Long-term Goal' while make other short-term goals one by one detailedly.
If you have any more ideas on this, please present your scenario of using the goal so that we may give consideration better meet your needs.

It would be good to be able to differenciate the goals by lifelong, long-term, short-term or similar.... Can can related them. It would help to organize the goals. Just my thought. I am a new user, still learning but I am liking it so far.
