@siraj
If you just want to have an idea of what tasks I have completed today, you may use the "Daily Review" feature. Hope iit could help. http://enblog.doit.im/post/28478169479/review-making-it-possible-to-write-a-report-with-more
Second, yes, now, completed tasks will be collapsed by default. Because loading tasks in Completed will take more time if you have lots of completed tasks.
Shall you need any help or have additional questions, please feel free to contact us.
Thank you for your feedback and support.
In project views, the completed items are visible, but collapsed by default. I would suggest that they should be expanded by default and be populated with items as I complete them.

@michelle1987 Thanks for the quick response. I understand that feature and I already use it. I am talking about a better usability here. Other GTD tools that I have used like Nirvana, Asana, etc. all do this - items are displayed at the bottom of the Today page and are moved only when we click Archive. Please consider this as a feature request

@siraj
We will seriously consider your suggestion. And now, you may create a filter box. Create filter rules, restricting the list to "Status" is "Uncompleted" and completed and "Start time" is "Today". Thus, you will see both completed and uncompleted tasks that start today.
Here is a video tutorial about how to create a filter box.
