Is it possibile to connect a project to a goal

I know in this way:
- defining the goal
- THEN the activity
- THEN converting it in a project
but I can't assign some projects to the same goal ex post.
I have a similar problem for assigning a project as part to other projects. I can't connect them.

Yes you may assign a project to a goal:
If you use web version or desktop version, right click the project in project list page, you'll see "Goal" in the right click menu. Then choose the goal you want to assign the project to.
If you use phone version, please long press the project in list page, then pick "Goal".
