Hello,
Tasks created under a project will not inherit the context from the project. We cannot guarantee that all the tasks you add to a project will be done in the same context as that of the project. Besides, a project is also a task, a task that with multiple steps, so it has the "context" property just like an ordinary task.
And now, inactive projects will be shown in a context, while active projects will not. Because for an active project, we hope that you could take more focus on actions under it. To get more information about active projects and inactive projects, please click here. http://faq.doit.im/web.html#37
For your other request, sharing a project with others, we will seriously consider it.
Shall you need any help or have additional questions, please feel free to contact us.
Thank you for your feedback and support.
Tasks in a project with a context do not show up when viewing that context
I'm in the process of migrating away from Astrid, Doit.im looks great - albeit missing a key feature, sharing projects.
I might be able to look beyond that in the short term but have found an odd issue:
I have a create a project and set the context to 'Work'
I have created five tasks in this context.
When I select to view the 'Work' context, none of the tasks are listed.
This seems counter-intuitive to me. Shouldn't any task I create be in that project be set to the 'Work' context?
What is the point of providing a context for a project of it does not affect the tasks within it or even show the project itself when viewing the context?
