@Gibran Nirvana HQ does look similar. Have you switched to it full time? Can you import over from Doit? Any other major differences?

Hi,
Nirvana HQ is a good alternative but there is one major feature missing : a reminder alert function.
I just switch from Nirvana to Doit.im because of this, but as I can read on this forum, Doit.im seems to be dying. I hesitate to pay the 1 year Pro-subscription.
I'm so disappointed because I tried many tasks managing App and Doit.im was for me the best one. -

@Thomaspetit Is that the only reason you felt like Doit was better? I don't necessarily need that feature so if Nirvana has everything else, that may be the better choice for me personally. I paid Doit for Pro again 2 months ago but they still haven't fixed it on my account.

Yes, I missed some scheduled tasks because I didn't look at the App daily. Except for this point, Nirvana is very similar.
Thanks for the information about the Pro Acount, doesn't seem good for the future of the App..

@Thomaspetit I went ahead and signed up for Nirvana and have started the process of moving everything over. It's not as simple as Doit but the email to inbox works which was one of the main features that I needed. Now to try to actually get someone to respond to get my refund on Doit...

Yes, I'm 100% with it. I thought I'd miss notifications, so I'm using Google Reminders. Another thing I liked, and flees a bit of GTD, is the "Later" list that would be intermediate between "Next" and "maybe". I also find it visually cleaner and more modern and the main thing is that you can pay a one-time fee. Of course there is a lot to improve, I miss the ability to use shortcut keys. Updates are slow, but have an active team behind.

Ah! from what I saw it does not matter. Enjoy to do a great review of your system! :) -

@Gibran one thing that I like about Nirvana so far is the ability to segregate personal and work projects and tasks. I'm a CPA and have to keep track of my time and use an app called Toggl that has a Chrome extension that worked with Doit. Toggl does not currently have an extension with Nirvana. That is the only drawback so far. I like the ability to tag or label the tasks to a contact as well. That is really helpful in knowing who you are needing to provide information.
