What properties did you set to those tasks that were unable to be converted to projects? Did they include the "Project" property?

Now. tasks that have been assigned to a project cannot be converted to projects.

Yes, by the time you have responded. I have figured this out. But almost all my work-related tasks are in a project and I want to convert them to a project when it makes sense. Why would you disable this? Also, there should be an easy way to convert a task to a project - for example, by dragging the tasks to the Project area. Please consider this.

If a task with a project can be converted to a project, how does the original project behave? Delete it?
