Now, if the whole repeated tasks (the ones with the circling arrow next to them) meet the current filter conditions, they will be showed the filter box.
Could you please tell me how do you set "Source" Repeated Tasks? You may set yesterday or earlier to the start time of the repeated task and then it will be not shown in the filter you create. Is it what you want?

Right now, if for example I create a filter for tasks in Today and a particular Context, the results include both repeating tasks and their "Source" tasks (the ones with the circling arrow next to them). It would be great to be able to filter those out. Is there any way?
