@Folke
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback!
Q: Context not visible on task line in Windows app
A: Which "Group by" do you selected when you find the context invisible on task bar? When you group by Context, the context is invisible on the task bar now.
Q: In addition (but this is a feature request), I would like to have the tags visible, too, on the task line, in all apps that are intended for larger screens (and maybe even on phones). I feel blind without it, and therefore do not use the tags feature as much as I would want to.
A: We are considering adding this feature now.
Shall you need any help or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me back.
Thank you for your support!
Best regards,
Doit.im Team

"Which "Group by" ". All of them.
As you say, when I group by context I can see the context in the heading, so there is no real need to see it on the task line. But in all other sorting modes (priority, deadline, project etc) it is very useful to see this
In the other apps (web, iPhone) I can always see both the context and the project name on the task line itself. -

Hi,
I am sorry that we can not reproduce this bug.
Could you please make a screenshot for me of the list where you can not see the Context on the task bar when you do not group by Context?

Hi,
Our developers are checking the issue now.
Could you please send me the screenshot of the list under the context which does not display the project information on the task bar? Please also send us the logs. Thank you. -

@wendy_only (and everybody on the forum)
Just out of curiosity:
Am I the only one who does not see the context indicator for each task (in the windows app)? (Or who does not even see the project indicator in the contexts views?)
Do you see it on your machine?
It seems weird that that this kind of problem could happen to only a single user. -

@Folke, I tried to reproduce your issue but I can't. In all views I tried (in the Windows app), the context is visible in the task line.

Weird. I had no problem with the installation of the app, and most things seem to be just like others describe them. Hmm.
Well, I do have this other strange issue (another thread: http://help.doit.im/topics/2667) that in the view for a particular goal, I can see two projects duplicated as tasks aslo, i.e. I have both a project and a task called "Project A" and both a project and a task called "Project B". I have not heard that complaint from anybody else either. I wonder if those could be related somehow, but it seems farfetched.
In any case, this does not seem to be an easy problem. Better leave it to the developers. -

Now the context indicator is visible everywhere :-)
(except when a list is grouped by context, which is OK but different from the web app)
The project indicator is still missing in the context views (when choosing a context from the left menu).
One thing I miss generally in the Win app is that the context and project indicators on the task line are not clickable like in the web app. But I like the blue color better - easier to read.

A: I could not reproduced it. Our developers will check it further.

A: It is a bug on Windows version. We will fix it. Sorry.

A: Now the context and project indicators on the task line are not clickable on Windows version. It is not developed yet. We will add this in the future.

Maybe a misunderstanding: What are you trying to reproduce? The context indicator is showing up just fine, just as it should :-) So there is no error to reproduce. Thank you for having fixed this :-)
The only little difference compared to the web app is that the web app (unnecessarily, but consistently) shows the context indicator even when you have grouped a list by context and already have the context in the group heading. I suppose this is a design choice if little consequence. I think my preference would be to have it the same everywhere, but it does not matter. It is mainly a matter of cosmetic consistency. So I think you can consider the matter with missing context indicators resolved for the time being. (But all the other strange bugs still remain http://help.doit.im/topics/2828)

Hi,
The bug is that it should not show the context indicator on the task bar when you group the list by Context,
