@khaberz
Hi,
Do you mean that you want the Box options in Filter? We have the plan to improve this feature now. Thank you for your suggestion.
Shall you need any help or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me back.
Thank you for your support!
Best regards,

As an example of what this would be great for - I am using a Workaround for separating actionable tasks from non-actionable tasks in Projects, using Low Priority (see http://help.doit.im/group/topic/80 ). If I could include the NEXT list as a Filter criteria, I would be able to create a filtered Next list only, without e.g. scheduled tasks, that I do not want to see necessarily (I know, I could use Low Priority for all these too, but then it really gets messy)

@wendy_only I think it is what you mean, but just to ensure there's no misunderstanding, what I'd like is the following (using an example of how I'd use it):
I want to set up a filter for all tasks that:
1. have high or Medium Priority
2. are uncompleted
3. Are in the "Next" list
Currently I do not have the option to filter for 3. which results in Tasks showing up in the Filter results that I don't want to see (e.g. scheduled tasks)

I agree that the Advanced Filter (Saved Search) should have the option to select by "Box" and I am glad this is being implemented :-) (And Goal should be included, too, BTW)
But @wendy_only, please note that the original problem that @khaberz has is the fact that there is no way in Doit to hide all those project actions that do not yet belong on any of the GTD lists (boxes). You and I have talked about this before.
There should be a separate "group" ("box") within each project called "Inactive" or "Subsequent" etc, to which you can drag all those project tasks that are not yet ready to be put on the GTD lists. (In paper GTD these tasks would be kept in a project plan outside of the main lists). It is simply wrong from a GTD point of view, and very clumsy and irritating, to have these tasks pollute your Next list or Someday/Maybe list or Waiting For list (or wherever you decide to put them).
Please implement a feature for Inactive project tasks (and let that group be manually sorted). -

@khaberz
Hi,
What I mean is what you want. Now you can not do it as there is not Box options. When we make it,you can be able to do it. -

@Folke
Hi,
Do you mean that the tasks under the project can be inactive which will be only showed under the project view and you can manual sort them? -

@wendy_only
Yes. Thanks for asking. I actually mean two things:
1) First of all, I agree with @khaberz suggestion that in the advanced filtering (saved searches) there should be filtering and grouping options for Box. And also for Goal, which is one of Doit's very useful features. These advanced filtering options can be useful for many different kinds of things.
2) Yes, I suggest that in each project there should be a special "group" or "box" (which can be called "Inactive" or "Subsequent" or "Dependent" etc), where the user can "hide" tasks, and can arrange them in manual order. These tasks should not be visible anywhere else (on any of the Box lists or Context lists),
At a later stage of development, Doit could also implement automatic progression of tasks sequentially from this inactive section to the active section(s). This would be a nice way to guarantee that no project gets completely forgotten if the user is a "lazy" reviewer. And a more active reviewer can move all true next actions etc to the active part of the project.
